Your tasks and responsibilities

The Toxicologist/Study Director is responsible for the protocol development, conduct and reporting of toxicity studies from the earliest phase of screening through product development and defense and/or responsible for the conduct of general scientific research programs. As the incumbent of the position, you will be in charge of: - Acting as Study Director for screening and exploratory toxicity studies ensuring the use of appropriate standard operating procedure, the respect of all appropriate international regulatory guidelines and in accordance with GLP principles. - Taking into account the economic dimension of activities and studies for which you are responsible, and also all indicators defined by management or sponsors (deadlines, etc.). - Coordinating teams working on research studies or projects. - Maintaining a high level of skills and improving procedures to achieve greater efficiency while maintaining high study quality. - Coordinating with experimental technicians and different scientific departments. The results of these assays/studies are the basis for input into decisions regarding promotion or stopping of compounds, resolution of critical issues on compounds, and supporting the products of Bayer Crop Science in both the regulatory and public arena.

Who you are

You own a PhD / Doctorate in Toxicology or a closely related science, with a significant experience in a position subjected to the GLP compliance. Ability to manage and motivate teams working on research projects is essential for this position. You also have a good knowledge of international regulatory guidelines. Fluent English (written and oral) is mandatory for this position.
